Robert C. Veazey, CPA, CVA, CM&AA, joined Knight in February 2009 to oversee all financial affairs of the company and its subsidiaries.  He brings more than 30 years of experience in the public accounting sector to Knight.  Veazey joined Knight following the sale of Veazey and Company, a firm of CPAs and business consultants he founded.

In addition to his designation as a Certified Public Accountant he also holds designations of CVA and CM&AA.  Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)  is a designation awarded by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst to professionals who possess advanced skills related to business valuations.  Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) is a designation awarded by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors and Loyola University Chicago to professionals showing mastery in mergers and acquisitions, as well as commitment to staying abreast of new developments in the field.  He has extensive experience in designing, negotiating and drafting creative sales, purchase and compensation plans.

He is a University of Louisiana graduate and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Alliance of Certified Merger and Acquisition Analysts. 

He shares Knight’s dedication to community and served as president of Our Lady of Fatima School Board, member of Our Lady of Fatima Foundation and St. Thomas More High School Foundation Board of Trustees.  He is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette, a past president of Kiwanis of Acadiana and previously served on the Children’s Shelter Board of Directors, as well as other boards and committees in the Lafayette and civic community.
