 Since 1996, the Tri*Drill Services business unit has been a leading provider of non-destructive inspection and "casing friendly” hardbanding for drill pipe, tubing, bottom hole assembly components and heavy lift and handling equipment. Along with inspection and hardbanding, Tri*Drill Services also offers pipe maintenance and storage. Inspection units are mobile for both land and offshore operations while hardbanding units are available for land, rig or yard locations.
All NDT inspections are conducted by Level I and Level II specialists who are certified according to ASNT guidelines and are tested by an independent source (IPIA or a certified ASNT NDT Level III Instructor) and follow DS-1 specifications. Tri*Drill Services also has an ASNT Level III certified inspector on staff.
As a recognized leader in safety training and preparedness, Tri*Drill Services has implemented an in-house training program to prepare employees to safely handle every situation from tool preparation to environmental issues. The Tri*Drill Services business unit maintains the highest level of AMSE Section 9 safety certification. Tri*Drill Services’ Broussard, Louisiana facility is the first Fearnley Procter NS-1™ and NS-2™ certified inspection and hardbanding facility in the United States.
